Artisitic

This word just begs to be calligraphed. Try your hand at it. This is an imitation of the word on the cover of At Home with Artistic Penwork, Book 2, Artistic Writing, c. 1947, by Stephen Ziller of the Tamblyn School of Penmanship.
(x-height is 3 mm, Brandauer 516 nib with Yoke Pen C. Japan ink)

I just love that capital B!

BTW I had never heard of (or noticed) this Brandauer brand before.  OK I see the 518 on kallipos, where it says:  "Superfine stroke. little flexibility."

Nice!

Glad you like it.
This is the 516 (quite flexible) which Kallipos does not have, unfortunately. I would buy all he has if so.

A little free-form contribution from me. Makes a change from the foundation hand I'm practicing :)

I'm doing this because resizing pictures is always a challenge, no matter how many times I do it!  This is my 6th attempt today with this one.
