I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong place but....

I don't know how to write an ampersand.
Whenever I try to write it, they'd look horrible!
Can anyone help me how to write them nicely? Like the basic strokes of any ampersand, please?

My higgins sepia ink seems to bleed with any paper I use! It's so sad how I can't use it.
Any tips on how to make the bleeding stop?
What's the best paper for higgins sepia?

The paper I used in the photo is Paper One 100 gsm. 😊

Hiii! I'm a not so newbie but I haven't posted anything here.

My name is Sandee. I'm 20 years old from Cebu, Philippines. I'm still a college student. 
I joined here last December 2014 but was kinda shy to introduce myself.
I often visit the forum for new posts and this place has really helped me a lot already with calligraphy. I found the love of calligraphy from someone I follow on instagram and got so interested with it I had to buy a kit for myself and try it out.
I joined one calligraphy workshop last February and will be joining a brush & watercolor calligraphy soon.

Looking forward to make new friends!
