Hi everyone!

I'm Dalia, from New York and I discovered calligraphy about 4 months ago. I've always loved everything that had to do with beautiful handwriting since I was a kid but didn't know there was a whole art dedicated to it until recently. So naturally I became obsessed right away! I've been learning mainly Engrosser's script with the help of the awesome people at Reddit /r/calligraphy. I've also been dabbling at Italics but pointed pen is my first love. This is probably the first and only artistic thing I've ever tried in my life and it's brought me so much joy!

Looking forward to learn more and share my work and hopefully when I know enough, to pass along what I've learned!

Welcome, Dalia! I'm also a beginner around the 4 or 5 month mark! :) This forum is a WEALTH of information. Now I need to go check out that reddit, too! Looking forward to seeing your work! :D
