Hi!

hi. Newbie from the philippines.
im a dentist who's been in love with calligraphy since i was a child but never had the opportunity and time to try it myself until now.
while reading on how to get started with calligraphy, a blog suggested to bcome a member here at the flourish forum and here i am doing just that. ;D

@matthew_r  i am interested in modern calligraphy because it is not strict with the spacing and size of each letter, or is that freehand calligraphy?? haha..
but i think i have to start with copperplate first so that's what im practicing now :D

Welcome to the forum.
You will enjoy it here.  For copperplate head straight to the amazing tutorials of Erica and you can't go wrong.  She also had some great advice on Modern calligraphy.
