@Rednaxela very nice,
I have tried 2552 blanzy,  yup it is great nib and you don't have to apply much pressure,  just about same as Leonartd principal,  due to its long tines it flex more but need a bit more  pressure to do so.
Just practice drills ovals, pressure release ovals and capital stems.
I am sure you will get a good result.

This book has some good drills to practice.
I recommend you to read starting, sitting posture and arm movements etc.  Just as a revision.

Hi @Rednaxela

Many thanks for sharing. Never heard of this wood before. But good that it comes in round sticks. :D Worth trying one.

Thank you so much for trying this and reporting back Syed, really appreciated!

Yesterday I tried a couple of these shaded oval drills, and they showed me that my timing is way off. Also, my sitting posture is far from textbook, so I suspect there's something to be gained there too.

Thank you once again, your advice is of great help!
