hello from the philippines

hello! i am babydoodle from the philippines.

I am *quite* afraid to post because other than stalking other calligraphy hobbyist i am a total noob.
my only reason for starting calligraphy was to give my boyfriend (who is btw overseas atm) a handwritten love letter on our anniversary *blush* so a few more months to go haha

i practice for around an hour to three hours a day, i have practically switched to fountain pen so that i will get accustomed to it.

i am here to learn and more!

We have many, many beginners here on the forum so please don't be afraid. I can't think of a better reason to learn calligraphy than your project. A true work of love! 

Something tells me you will continue even after your letter is complete.

Hi girls! Im also from the Philippines! I'm also a newbie but I already got "hooked". It's a really fun hobby! I posted something in this forum with regard the places where you can buy supplies! Just go to the "Tool and Supplies" category and there's a thread there! I hope that helps!
