I’m really excited for our first Flourish Forum Secret Santa!

This will be different from our traditional exchanges. You will send to one person a minimum of one envelope a week for the 4 weeks of December. And you will receive from one person. You can send more if you would like, but 4 is the minimum. What you send is up to you but should be calligraphy related. It does not have to be an expensive “treasure” - it can be a quote, bookmark, stickers, use your imagination.

Quick question, would we need to keep our identity "secret" for the exchange? Like just a return address without a name?

I was wondering that too.
Or letters with no return address at all. I've been on so many exchanges, I would know who the sender was by return address alone, unless it was from a first time exchange participant.

It’s really up to the sender on whether they want to include a return address and give it away with the first envelope. There is no other way around it with sending by mail. Also, as @AnasaziWrites points out - we all have exchanged with each other so much we will probably be able to recognize who it is right off the bat anyway.

I agree....unless we try a hand we are not used to....it is likely we will know who our sender is. I don't mind though. This is going to be a fun exchange!

Got an envelope in the mail and it sparked an idea.. the sender used washi tape to "seal" the envelope.. in doing so.. they partly concealed their addressed on the back.. it was a thank you note so I of course wanted to see who my sender was (I was pretty sure but still!) And I was able to easily pull the washi tape away. Enough of the address was showing that I knew it was under there (not sure if the post office would bother if they needed to return it) but thought this could be an option to consider..
