Ooh...great find! It's a little pricey for me at the moment, but if I didn't have a wedding to pay for...I'd be jumping on this!

I am wondering how well it really works.  The feeds of fountain pens often can't keep up with the demand for ink from a flex nib resulting in "railroading".

The seller, Pierre is a penpal of mine and he is also a calligraphy enthusiast! I will direct him here to the flourish forum and he can tell us more about it. It certainly looks great though, love that lacquered wood finish!

I've written him an email through Etsy, as I'm definitely interested!  I travel a lot and it's too hard to dip nibs into jars of ink on planes!!  I'll let you know what his response is!

It'd be nice if you could use one of the more elastic nibs on this but I'm assuming it has to be a chrome plated nibs (pretty much only G nibs) to prevent rusting. Still curious to see how these work.

Thanks for letting me know about this, Schin.

How does it work? It works like any regular fountain pen, it just has interchangeable sections to accommodate a handful of nibs I built around the unit. Please have a look at my Facebook page, more information is there. The website is on its way. I have more elastic nibs than the Zebra G, but those will be available later after more testing. G nibs suit the vast majority of occasional flex writers. If you're a calligrapher, however, I'll have other ones available soon, including stainless options, and the Leonardt Principal EF.

I don't check this forum very often, so if you have direct questions for me, please email me at DesiderataPens(AT)gmail(DOT)com.

I like the idea of this very much - a fountain dip pen plus wood. All my favourite elements.

I'm wondering if the flow of the ink will match up with the flexing. I have an Ackerman Pump Pen but the pump on that isn't ideal. I gather this one should work like a Namiki Falcon? If so, I'm game.

I don't know how a Namiki Falcon performs, but I'm pleased. There's a writing sample on my Facebook page.
