Thank you! I've got a lot to learn & this is a great place to do it. This is a different setup than any I've seen before, but I'm gradually understanding how to navigate all of the different topics. I really try to follow the rules. I've never been kicked out of a group, and I don't intend to start now or ever. I love that there are so many members from all over the world, and enjoy finding out what types of tools, inks, paints, pens, paper, lettering styles etc., that everyone uses. I have to watch out, though, as I've gotten into several threads and read for hours, realizing, as the sun has begun to rise, that I need sleep, too! Linda
Well, the whole design is handmade then I scanned it & resized it to A5. I then watermarked a rectangular portion in the middle below my daughter's name through photoshop. After saving it in hi-res file, I sent a copy to a printing service and they reproduced around 50 pcs & made it into a notepad.Let me know which printing service you have used, I really want to look into this too! Thanks in advance!
Very pretty...she'll love it for sure!!
Looks good!
Lovely floral design, Shiela!
Can you explain what you mean by notepad? Did you use that motif for a customized notepad? Did you use an online printing service to do this? (I've been dreaming of making my own customized notepads for many years but never looked into it.)
And another watercolor-related observation: If you ever need to mix watercolors and calligraphy, I find that Platinum Carbon ink is a great waterproof solution for dip pen (or fountain pen). You can watercolor before or after the calligraphy. If you have used a similar technique before, I'd be curious to hear about your experience.
These are so beautiful! So much detail, so much talent!
Wow!!! Beautiful work!
Beautiful! I love the tiny details you have; makes it so much more interesting!
