hello from a new and uncertain member

Hello, all.

I'm not at all sure I should be here. Recently I've gotten into a fountain pen or two, liking what a broadish nib does for my handwriting.

I'm attracted to the idea of using a nib pen for everyday writing. However, I can't promise anyone I'm going to practice well or work through any tutorials, although the work I see on here is lovely.

Is there anything for someone like me—interested in writing more deliberately, and perhaps drawing (poorly) more again—to do with a nib pen and some basic knowledge?

Also, check out the Inktober Inktober 2022  and Inktober 2023 topics as they have some fabulous illustrations with writing.

Lastly, you may like Zentangles which are designs composed of various patterns. They’re extra fun to do with a fountain pen.

@total_newbie  Welcome! I agree with Erica that you most definitely should be here. The interests, level of skill, time available for practice, curiosity, etc. is as varied as the 10,000 some odd members here. And speaking for myself, you'll find some odd members.
