At the idyllic Laya Point Permaculture centre--
After decades of teaching on the continent, we began offering courses in the UK in 2015. This summer there are two courses--
July 14 -19: Spanish and English Historical and Modern Italic scripts including José Casanovas and Queen Elizabeth I along with modern interpretations.
&
July 21 - 26: Art Nouveau Lettering--letterforms designed in the late XIX & early XX Centuries in Catalonia and the UK, based on Keith's original research for teaching at the Catalan National Art Museum (MNAC) & other sources.

Did someone mention Calligraphy and Lake District?? That has to be my favorite combination of all time! Boy do I wish I could attend this wonderful opportunity to learn. The Lake District is easily one of my favorite places on Earth.

Sorry to hear you can't make it--we have people coming from Spain, Switzerland, Denmark...& the UK, so far. Starting the first course next Friday. Getting excited about it! Have you looked at the blog posts cited above from previous years? Keith is already there, enjoying the English summer weather, so much more temperate than that in Spain. (I know. It's 36º here at the moment.) Where are you , Chantelle?
