If anyone who is familiar with me and my work is interested in connecting on LinkedIn, I welcome the connection! As I am trying to build my business, I could really use some endorsements for Calligraphy and Hand Lettering. All of my endorsements are for my architecture and app design experience. I'm hoping to get enough endorsements for Calligraphy and Hand Lettering that those skills move to the top. If I am familiar with your calligraphy work, I will happily endorse you as well. If you want to connect with me but not endorse, I'm happy with that, too!
My LinkedIn profile is here: http://www.linkedin.com/in/lyndsaywright
Thank you in advance to anyone who connects with me, and even bigger thanks to anyone who wants to endorse me on top of the connection!
Lyndsay

Hahahaha, Joi!!!! :D If you want to view someone's profile without their knowing, you have to first change your privacy settings so that you can't see who has looked at your profile. Then, you're incognito. However, if you want to see who has looked at your profile, then you should change your privacy settings back when you're done researching. ;)

I'm not very good with Linkedin, but I have one: https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=51261843

Schin, it looks like your privacy settings are too high for me to add you. Are you able to add me?
-
Shoot, didn't even know I had privacy settings. I've sent you a request.
-
I'm on there too, but I hate it.

There is a setting on LinkedIn that you can appear anonymous so you can freely stalk profiles. Hehehe

Hi all
Lyndsay, just sent a request. Would happily endorse you. If anyone wants to connect with me (Shin, I couldn't add you either), I'm

Hi Lyndsay
Just playing around with my LinkedIn profile, and see that you can drag around the order of skills so that you can force skills with lower endorsements higher in the list. You just need to edit your profile, edit your skills section, and then there's a little grey bit just above 'save' that says 'drag to reorder'. Hope that helps.
-
Kate, this is a huge help - thank you!!! I'm going to try this.
-
Ok, I think I sent a request to you, Lyndsay, Kate and Natascha, but I couldn't see Schin. Natascha, it's possible I just sent you the standard text request, sorry, I guess I was so happy just to have found you that I clicked 'Send' without thinking.
Also not the biggest fan, the interrface really sucks imho, but it's worth a try ;). Thanks for telling us, Lyndsay!
I don't know what this endorsing means, sorry.
I couldn't find you, Joi – and Anam, I found several Anams with your surname, so I wasn't sure who you were!! If anyone wants to say hello, I am there now too:

I'm on LinkedIn but for now it's just landscape architecture based for me! I'll happily add anyone but definitely don't need calligraphy endorsements at the moment.
-
Man, Schin, you've got your LinkedIn on lockdown!!
Stefanie and Briana, I asked to connect with both of you.
-
Good idea, Lyndsay!
I haven't really payed attention to LinkedIn yet, but I have a profile there... will try to connect with you all and maybe add some more recent info ;)
-
hmmm, can't seem to send Lyndsay or Kate a request. (it said I need to 'upgrade'?!? Worked with Stefanie...
trying with Natascha now(and waiting on Schin's 'un-lock' note ;))
-
I'm clicking 'connect' whenever I see calligraphy faces pop up in the corners :) Good to see you all in the real world!
My LI is mostly my real job at the moment, but I did put calligraphy up there as a skill ... just in case. But does anyone have separate profiles for their day jobs as well as their calligraphy work? Is that something LI supports? I think it'd be good to have a separate business LI.
(I need to keep the day job profile - in my industry it's very handy.)
-
Okay.. I don't know what's going on but I went to my linkedin and just clicked a bunch of buttons.. I hope that fixed whatever ails it. It's such a confusing website UGH
-
That is the most confusing website ever!! Seems to confuse me more than help me connect ;D … thank you, Lyndsay for your confirmation of skills or what that is … I try do do that for you too!! Just must figure out how!
I also click on every face I find familiar, Moya :).
