Handmade Paper
« on: August 04, 2018, 12:17:29 AM »
I'm creating samples to display at a wedding expo and on my social media. I've noticed a huge trend in handmade paper and I want to try it out. Anyone have a favorite supplier?

Also I found this seed paper and I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet? I'm going to order some samples soon! I like the idea of offering brides this eco friendly option.

I am crazy about khadi papers:

They are based in Europe so it might not work for you, but they are just so wonderful. I did not try all of them but if it says smooth you won’t have any problem writing on it. Also, their rough cotton rag papers have wonderful texture but paper is so soft I could write on them without any issues. All in all,  I had to promise myself I won’t buy more until I spend everything I currently have :D

Some photos of the rough one:

I love the handmade papers from Fabulous Fancy Pants. @fabulousfancypants on Insta. They take calligraphy ink and nibs well and work well in a printer.

I just came on here to say that Erica.  And also, if you make something pretty with their paper, post it and tag them, they re-post your work giving you credit!
