TV/Movie Calligraphy

As a newbie...now when I watch tv or a movie and I see something written in calligraphy, I really take notice now...LOL

Watching the 1958 movie Horror of Dracula and see this...

Niiice! Looks like real calligraphy to me!

I recently watched Crimson Peak and when the protagonist wrote something with a penholder and nib I was looking very closely to see what nib she was using. I thiiink it was a modern Hiro one though! :o

Sometimes, I think are we all a little bonkers??  Then I think,  being part of this forum and this art form Don't mind being Totally Bonkers ;D

Funny you should mention that, Garima.  There's a nice example in one of the old Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes adaptations and I'd love to upload it, but the disc is no doubt buried deeply in one of the boxes we haven't unpacked following the move.  Perhaps I should do some ferreting around in the garage.
