How to Make A Soda Can Pen & Use It

I have shared the handout for this before but I made a video to go with it. I find using Aluminum Flashing much easier and sturdier than using a soda can but you can use either. Be very careful as the edges are extremely sharp. I hosted a workshop on making this and only one person cut themselves out of about 25 so it can be done without injury. LOL!  :P Hand outs are below. This is the book I like for brush lettering which works well with the folded pen, too:
