How small is your x height?

@Erica McPhee Your flourish is always a pleasure to follow.  Very well balanced.

@InkyFingers
the x-ht on this word is 1/6 inch (about 4 mm), which is large for me, but have found this size  looks better on this site.

The watch fob stone is actually bloodstone and was carved by a master carver at Dexter Signet Rings, a jewellery manufacturer in Rolvenden, UK. The buddha is one of my collection, and I submitted a photo of it to him and he did the carving from that. The fob is two sided, and on the other side is a carving of Ganesh (also done from a photo of a murti of mine) in carnelian. Both of these stones were commonly carved a hundred years ago to make wax seals rings, etc. I bought the fob, which was uncarved, as the mint marks on it imply it was made in the year of my grandfather's birth and sent it to them. It took close to a year to be done, but was worth the wait. I use it now occasionally to seal letters.
If you would like a visual treat go to Dexter's website and see what they have done in the past.

Nice work on your glyptography (which should be the title of this thread, not glyptology--I don't know how to correct this).

InkyFingers:
@AnasaziWrites Wow!  Seeing the stone clearly now, wow!  My apology for being ignorant of stone types.  I had to Google it :D
Thank you for sharing with us this beautiful gem and its significances.  I truly enjoyed it.
