Hey Linda!  I say, if you really want to do Copperplate, finish that up till your pleased with every stroke.  Then, move onto modern.  This should prevent any intermingling between the two scripts.  However, modern and copperplate may be far enough apart stylistically so that you can learn them simultaneously without diffusion.  Ultimately, it's up to you.  Those were just my two cents.  Good luck!

Ohhhhh for sure.  For a quick, two day trip to Virginia from New York, I bought: all of my nibs, an oblique holder, a light box, Higgins eternal, watercolor inks, and guideline sheets.  So yeah, you're definitely not alone!  :)

Huh, I'm doing a school project on Australia and need to bring in a food that's native to the country.  Any suggestions?  It'd be great to hear it from someone who lives there. :)  Anyways, welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately I don't. :(  Although, I did purchase the Nikko G, Pumpkin, and a Gillott at the same time so I have those to practice with!  Thanks for all your help!
