Zillers Glossy Black

Okay so I love Zillers white and so I ordered last week Zillers glossy black. The black is beautiful but it's very difficult to get it to write. It seems to clump up on the nib making it almost impossible to flourish. Any suggestions?

Try diluting with water.

Hi Nichol, I saw that just now . Yes, you need to dilute it, I use distilled water. Still it's slower to write with then, say, walnut ink, and you need to clean the nib more often. It's my favourite ink for reproduction work, as it makes a little thicker and really black lines. You just need to find out the right consistency! And don't shake it – stir it with a toothpick ! I hope that works!
