Is anyone interested in having a penpal and doing a simple happy mail exchange? I am a beginner in calligraphy but I love stationery and paper crafts. I'm also into Project Life which is one of the reasons Ive decided to learn calligraphy.
I figured this would be a good way for me and other beginners to practice. Im open to more advanced calligraphers as well.

I've seen on pinterest people using a pencil sharpener on their chalk. I haven't tried it but when I need to create a thin line on mine, I just use the edge of a brand new piece of chalk.
I've also seen tutorials on how to make a paint out of chalk. You can try this and just use a thin paintbrush.
In this picture that I'm attaching is of a gingerbread man I drew of myself along with my name, I used the edge of a fresh piece of chalk for the thin lines. Please keep in mind that I don't know how to do calligraphy yet, so don't judge my name too harshly.

Hi! Im completely new to calligraphy. Ive never done it before but am eager to learn. Hopefully I'll be able to get some inspiration and tips on where to start in this forum.
