Here's photos of a few of my Winter 2015 exchange envelopes. I edited the address for privacy and also tried to hide them in places so please excuse me haha ;D. It was a fun exchange...actually EVERY Flourish Forum exchange is always fun! Happy New Year everyone! x Merissa

;D haha I wish! Someone could definitely send me some Krispy Kreme's and Laduree! But it would be super if I could challenge myself to flourish a dessert! But I might just doodle them or use stickers  ;)

Such great ideas! Everyone is so creative!

... -Desserts, with sweets, candy, pastries, etc.

Will this be solely writing, or include an actual sample of the pastries?  ;) yuuuummmmmyyy count me in!  ;D

-Birds
-Americana, something patriotic, historic, American.
-Pastels, with pastel colors.

Tools & Supplies / Re: Wax Seal Suppliers

I have to second Schin's recomendation and give a shout out to Linnea & Ward at Atelier Gargoyle. Their waxes are amazing, beautiful, and smell lovely too! I made a small order a month or so ago and I was so pleased at Linnea's customer service and warmth. I highly recommend them. Also, something I just learned while on their website is that John Neal Booksellers is now offering their wax: http://www.johnnealbooks.com/prod_detail_list/s?keyword=sealing+wax if you want to order online.

Check out www.AtelierGargoyle.com for more info and suppliers.

INFP that's me :) diplomat.
My fave part: "Left unchecked, INFPs may start to lose touch, withdrawing into "hermit mode", and it can take a great deal of energy from their friends or partner to bring them back to the real world.", that's hilariously true for me right now. I'm enjoying hermit status ;D
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing ;)

Letter writing in the comics.

How rare hand written letters are these days. Does the youngest generation even know what to do with one? Do they not come from an earlier generation, generally?

And I've noticed the words in all the comics I read are printed, all caps, except when referencing something written by "grandma" or someone of considerable age, wherein the words are written in cursive.

Long live cursive.

Hilarious! Thanks for sharing this  ;D and also for finding the image of the article that Janis quoted.

The following was in my local newspaper today.  I had to cut & paste the article, as you have to subscribe to the newspaper to see the online edition.  This' really from the AP, so it should be available across the 'Net:

"The write way: Kansas City coach's lineup cards are artful

"Kansas City Royals bench coach Don Wakamatsu puts up the team's lineup in the dugout before Game 2 of World Series Tuesday night against the San Francisco Giants in Kansas City, Mo.  APAPKansas City Royals bench coach Don Wakamatsu puts up the team's lineup in the dugout before Game 2 of World Series Tuesday night against the San Francisco Giants in Kansas City, Mo.

Janis

Thank you for sharing this Janis. This shows how much love Wakamatsu has for his team by the care he takes in writing their names so beautifully. It's truly a work of art. And it's great that the newspaper spotted this and thought it interesting to be written about because it sure is. Let your paper know that your forum appreciates that article :) and high fives all around to Wakamatsu-san!
