Foundational is quite a challenge. But my teacher said that once you grasped it, it will help you to learn other scripts. I'm myself still working on my spacing and consistency.

Hello!

I'm Risyad. Thank you for accepting me to this forum!

I started learning western calligraphy about 2 years ago (I learned arabic calligraphy before but I'm still no good at it till now  ), and has been in love with penmanship before. My biggest change in my calligraphy journey was when I join Eindraw's brush calligraphy workshop about 1 year ago.

Hope I can learn more and make more friends by joining this forum!
