What is your current favorite letters?

I just realized that nemesis in lowercase is m and n. They really frustrate me. I'm working on Dr. Joe Vitolo videos and those two letters is kicking my butt.

I love D,G, B, r and v.  And the numbers 5 and 0.

well, I think my favorites are f, k and q, but I don't like how my c and e turn out and i really hate r.
about uppercases I like A, H, K, O and really hate D, I, J. I would also like E if only it would turn out like Erica's.

Lower case h is my bane at the moment! I have been struggling with smooth thick lines for quite a while, and its super obvious in the lower case h.

I get a little gleeful whenever I get to write an uppercase F or T.. And I get downright giddy if I get to write an uppercase A! By golly it WILL be super flourished!

i would LOVE to be able to write a D like Stefanie!!!  hers are soooo beautiful and look effortless.  i love tracing it with your eye and trying to figure it out.

Ah Joi that really made my day (my evening)!! They are not effortless though, Hihi … I think that's one of the capitals I am practicing most.

As to preferences … I really like r's, and p's, and s's … f's are a challenge, but I like how many variations are possible! – a's, g's, n's, m's, u's … they are all not really my favourites!

I love F's as well ! And A's! Spencerian B's – the form with the two parallel capital stem lines, one thick and one thin – that's a dream! And this old-fashioned Q!

I'm not very fond of L's … or W's. Which is annoying as my last name starts with one!

I am struggling with H at the moment. It's in my logo and I just haven't found one I like. Anyone have some beautiful copperplate H's, feel free to enlighten me.

I really enjoy doing all letters. The capital A in Fraktur is either a hit or miss with me at times  getting the spacing correct is a problem.

I like upper case L

I like lower case g and y at the end of a word, where I can put a nice flourish on the tail.

I do not like upper case G.  Easy with a fountain pen, hard for me with a pointed dip pen.  I just have not quite figured out how to do it yet.  Worse is that is in my name.  :-(

I do NOT like letter combinations like lower case "uy" in the word buy.  I end with 3,4 or 5 short upstrokes, so it ends up as iy, uy or wy.  grrrrr 
Similar with "mm" or "mn."  I get the number of humps messed up, either 1 short or 1 over.
For some reason I have a transition trouble from the lower case w to anything after it.  I usually end up writing the w as a standalone letter, then do the rest of the word linked together normally.

And now this week, lowercase copperplate F is actually killing me. I just can't make it look nice! It's like it wants me to suffer.

Upper S is my all time favorite
I have a love hate relationship with upper L...so beautiful, but the angle is tough to get right
I often don't shade my lower c's enough. X and x....well let's just say they are lucky they don't show their faces 'round here to often!

I'm still new here -- so i don't even bother with any capitals right now!! Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow, right?? 

But I LOVE lowercase: g, y and h. They are so easy and look very impressive.
