Wow! Beautiful stuff. I wish my local library woild buy more calligraphy books -- I can't buy them all!
I live in a rural area that is far from any sizable library, and wanting to own my books for constant reference, I've purchased all of mine. I have every book I've purchased since 1981. Over the years I have come to believe, at least in calligraphy books, that price does indeed make a difference. Well worth the money for Herman Zapf, John Stevens, Shelia Waters, etc. there are of course some exceptions, like Julien Chazals Complete a Guide to Calligraphy and Fres Eagers Beginners guide to Italic, etc. That being said, I m a complete believer that there is no better investment than a good book.
