@AnasaziWrites - I think that font is "Futura" (using all caps). It's a great Bauhaus-style typeface dating from 1927, designed for the New Frankfurt-Project. /pedantry.
@Lucie Y - A great comeback with that French Roundhand with lovely embellishments on the versal and in the text! I hope your little one is feeling better.
@Zivio - I really admire that kidney-shaped curve in the ornament on the S. I find those shapes very challenging; yours flows very nicely! I'm not a fan of that Strathmore paper either - have you tried Clairefontaine writing paper? It's silky smooth!
Here's mine today -- I think the copperplate went a little better, but I got interrupted mid-word several times, which wasn't ideal, and then I ran out of time to try it all in one go. So here we are. Not best, but all part of the practicing, and I'm not entirely ashamed of the effort. However, I did spend time on working up a full-color drawing of the Scallop-breasted Antpitta - an adorable little tropical bird! I'm working on my birds for a bird project I'm considering doing this summer, so there will be more birds coming up.
@Lucie Y - I hope we get to see more of your birds too!
