Does this qualify as a zentangle?
« on: August 13, 2014, 09:32:05 PM »
I've never done a zentangle before nor do I really know the principle other than it seems to involve repeating patterns that evolves into some beautiful. Well, I don't know if what I've done tonight qualifies as either beautiful or zentangles, but it sure made for one heck of a fun, but intense, practice session. :)

OOOOH! So pretty! It's not quite a zentangle but is really beautiful! A zentangle is similar in that it uses repeat patterns. But it specifically breaks up each section with lines. And then each section is filled in with the repeating pattern.

But I quite like this!  :)

A zentangle's like drawing clear segments then filling the insides with repeat patterns with several different design patterns.

I only wish my practice sessions look this organized. My papers at the end are one giant messdoodle.
