Inconsitent Ink Flow
« on: June 13, 2022, 10:05:59 AM »
I have had this problem for a long time, it happens no matter what pen or ink I have, but it doesn't always happen. Basically, too much ink comes out, and then none. I have a picture of an example:

Any advice?

I can’t see the image but it sounds like the nib isn’t prepared enough. Meaning there is still some protectant left on the nib. So try either saliva, Windex, toothpaste, or sticking it into a potato for a few minutes and then wiping off. Also, is it a particular nib? I have had a couple of batches of nibs that won’t cooperate no matter what. But try that first.
Warm Regards,
