Everyday Handwriting | Penmanship / Dirty down!
« on: June 10, 2016, 01:29:55 AM »
Someone started a similar thread on a different forum.  I like to try it here:

To post you need to:
1)  Post only with a handwritten response either to be critique (the item) or be a critique
2)  Critique should be limited to 1 or 2 items (the person's item being critiqued should not be overwhelmed with two many items.)

This way.  Anyone can post an item to be critique on the same thread.  Also, please return after 1 wk to to post again. :D

Please add information that can be used to critique the item.  Else it will be generalized and be up for nick picking.

I'll start....

Script: Chancery Cursive
Exemplar: Cantaneo
Used only one ruled line (borders)

Coffee & Nib-bles / The changing tides
« on: May 17, 2016, 06:10:35 PM »
Oh woe are we washed ashore,
Onto which land we must explore,

Exile are we,
Free wanderers we are made,

To which we learn
A new chapter we turned

Oh the changing tide
Have washed ashore me here

== WHAT !! I thought I was done with learning a new script!  It was decidedly italic all the way.  NOW Gothic via Cadel!  YIKES!

Coffee & Nib-bles / Eureka!
« on: April 26, 2016, 06:02:12 PM »
When you have a moment of clarity,
When you are just being spontaneous,
When you have a break through,
When you have a random thought that you can't help but to express it,

Put it here!  Calligraphy style!

Coffee & Nib-bles / How many?
« on: April 21, 2016, 03:08:55 PM »
How many do big ones, little ones, pointy ones do you carry in your shirt pocket?

Do you need a pocket pen protector?

Not for me, more reason for shopping!!

A bit excessive for me today: Lucky 7.
Normally 2 or 3.  One will always leave me dry and sober.

Always  - Aurora Optima (ES Johnson #7 dip pen nib in fountain pen body)
Always  - Reform Calligraphy 1.1 mm Italic (Main writing pen)
Always  - MontBlanc 146 (1.0 mm Italic with vintage flex)
(and others for fun when I have time in between work.)
