Hello!

So, as most of you know, I'm extremely new to calligraphy! I really we wanted to download some free books on iampeth to help me in my calligraphy journey....But I don't fully know how to use the site. How do I download the PDF version of the book? How do I find books?  I'm looking mostly for anying Spencerian.

     So I've been thinking if I want to start Copperplate or Spencerian....And Spencerian it is! DO you guys have any tips or books  could get to really help me? It would be very helpful. A step-by-step type of book would be awesome!

Digital Design / Vectorize my handwriting!

Greetings awesome people!

  I hope you guys are all have a fantastic day!  I soon will be buying a custom made ergonomic oblique holder by the lovely and talented Lindsey Hook! #HooksHolders  I want to have my handwriting of my name engraved onto the flange. I would like to do this myself, but I don't know how! Any tips would be amazing. I've heard that most people use Adobe illustrator.

SO..I'm super new to calligraphy, I recently got a 62 set of vintage nibs from DoubleDipPens on the amazing Etsy! Now I'm trying to understand all the different guidelines that I see online that people have made. I don't really understand the guidelines and the angles/slants that people keep talking about. Some help on this would be amazing!

Hello everyone!

     I'm Gabby, and I'm 17 years young. I just recently brought a 62 set of vintage nibs from etsy and I really want to start Calligraphy. Either Copperplate or Spencerian. I follow a lot of people on Instagram and I have downloaded many iBooks on the topic, but I can't seem to fully get the hang of it. I have  excellent cursive handwriting, but calligraphy is a bit harder. I'm a visual learner, and I enjoy one on one! If anyone would be willing to help me along the way, or point me towards the right direction, that would be awesome. I really want to get good at calligraphy, more then just dabbling in it.
