Is there a way we can post photos directly into the text box from a website?
Yes, although it's sort of a gray area. Some websites don't allow direct linking, and the image will appear broken when viewed elsewhere. My usual route is share the image but also share its origin, so I'll post a link of where the image came from.
I'll use my Tumblr as an example:
1. Let's say I want to share the image on
this page.
3. Mouse-over the image, and then "right-click," and you'll see a bunch of options. Depending on your browser/platform, there should be an option that says "
Copy Image Link," "
Copy Image URL," or something similar to that. Mine says "Copy Image URL," I'm on a Mac using Chrome.
4. Come back to your Flourish Forum post, and click the "Mona Lisa" icon to share an image (the one under the
B for bold." You'll see some BBCode inserted: [ img][/img]
5. Paste the link you've just copied in-between the tags like so:

Make sure it ends with .jpg, .gif, .png, or something that signifies it's an image file.
6. You should probably post where the image came from too, to give the webpage credit.
7. Preview your post and your image should appear.
So my image would look like:
