Dasherie magazine!!!

Oh my gosh, I received 2 issues of the Dasherie Magazine and they are SO BEAUTIFUL! Erika did a WONDERFUL job with the interviews to and the photographs are so dreamy. I wonder why I only bought 2 and not the 3 available issues    The Winter issue (2015-2016) includes a beautiful engraved print so beautiful I will frame it. I'm including a pic here which, of course does not do justice to the beauty of the real thing.

I don't know if this post is okay here, please move it it where it is more appropriate; I just wanted to share my experience with members who are wondering about the magazine: They are so worth it!  The calligraphy samples are so beautiful, so much inspiration that pushes me to keep practicing and being diligent with form and structure of my letters.

Oh W.O.W.   I can't wait!  I just ordered every issue available (1-4) of what portends to be THE most beautiful magazine!   I may be a fledgling calligrapher, but I hope to make up for lost time.  And your magazine will be next to me to offer lovely inspiration.   Erica, you are a marvel and a dynamo, it's clear!  And I'm sure I don't know the half of it.  Thank you for all you do to benefit this art form.

I've thoroughly enjoyed each issue as they've come out and keep them near my desk for inspiration. I also have that print hanging up at my desk, it's so gorgeous.

Thanks Elaina! It's funny - you would think after the hundreds of hours I spent working on them, I would tire of seeing them. But just the opposite. I frequently look through them to admire all the beautiful work of the contributors and re-read the interviews.

I am (very patiently, you know) waiting for some issues to arrive home. I have been wanting them since I knew their existence, but shipping costs...  But they were high on my "indulgence" list, and Christmas is near... I don't think I will be able to not read them before Christmas, though!
