This is really interesting! I have stumbled into modern calligraphy and often wonder if I should learn a traditional style first. From what you have said I think it would help me understand spacings and improve my overall style. Thanks 😊

Hello!
I’m Suzanne and have been dabbling with modern calligraphy for a couple of years! I’ve done a few wedding bits, illustrated menus and created personalised maps! I’m here to try and improve my calligraphy and learn from the pros! I find calligraphy both fascinating and confusing with all the different types of nibs, inks, styles and paper. I spend my time juggling ‘proper’ work, two kids (and husband 🙈) and calligraphy!
Looking forward to having a good read of all the info on here!!
