Hi everyone,
I found this forum via a link on one of the Fountain Pen Network forums. I started studying the Italic hand at the beginning of winter so that I would have something to keep me occupied during the long, cold days when I wasn't able to be out working in my garden.
To date my learning consists of studying the Fred Eager book 'The Italic Way to Beautiful Handwriting - Cursive and Calligraphy' and also the Lloyd Reynolds Italic Calligraphy and Handwriting - Exercises and Text'. I'm also watching the Lloyd Reynolds series of 20 lectures that are now available on YouTube.
So .... very much a beginner but really enjoying the challenge. I look forward to learning lots from all the knowledgeable and helpful members of the Flourish Forum.

Tricia, welcome to the Forum!
I'm fairly new here as well, and picked up my first oblique pen in December. Love it, and I've learned so much here. Have fun!

Hi Tricia,
Welcome to Flourish!
I am so happy you mentioned the Lloyd Reynolds videos! I haven't done Italic for quite some time but I would love to watch his videos. ;D
