Hello,
This forum looks fab!
I've been a blogger since 2008 and in 2011 I also began blogging about calligraphy - now at wonky-words.com
I love calligraphy and I'm looking forward to finding like minded friends on this forum... I am not used to forums... this is my first... hopefully I will get the hang of it!

Welcome!  :)  All of my family is in the UK...Scotland & the south of England.

If you love calligraphy, this is the place to be...tons of helpful advice & wonderful people!

I took at a look at your blog - absolutely hilarious! I love it! And your calligraphy is fabulous! When I was young and learning calligraphy, I always thought of it as a European tradition. So I was surprised when I learned later on that it really wasn't as popular there as here in the states.

I share your anxiety about doing client work. Especially when I had to have a "finished product" at my house. Having small children and two cats, I was a nervous wreck that something would happen (because it always did)! So I laughed so hard your most recent post (Robert Downy, Jr.)!  ;D

P.S I apologise for the avatar I've used here. It is originally from my Blogspot Blog, which I started in 2008 and is nothing to do with calligraphy - it's a jokey daft blog. After all this time I slap up this avatar without thinking... I will try to find something more appropriate when I am next on my big PC.... possibly a picture of Nora Batty  :)
