Daily Pangram
« on: February 27, 2015, 10:19:39 AM »
Hey all,

Not sure if anyone else uses this as a resource but I came across a Tumblr that has daily pangrams. There are soooo many, and it's kinda fun to scroll through them and choose some to practice with: http://dailypangram.tumblr.com/.

A few of my favorites:  "Jay-Z's doing work for an expensive bisque-of-the-month club." and "In a bizarre sequence the field expert killed some guy with a javelin."

Here's a pic of a practice sheet with a few pangrams I picked that day. (I'm a newbie: only 3-4 months in my calligraphy journey)

Thank you for this link! I'm going to have to check it out. Speaking of pangrams, I should post more of the ones I wrote. I only posted one here and one on my IG. Putting it on the to do list!  ;D

Thanks for posting it.  The site links to the tool used to create the pangrams (http://www.marksimonson.com/notebook/view/pangrammer-helper), and you can make your own.  I played around with it and made this one:

Writing majuscules flexed the Principality in Vicky's Zanerian oblique holder.

Thank you!  I was getting tired of the sphinx of black quartz and the dwarfs, wizards and vixens.

Oh no! Beaten to it!  :P I posted this on IG recently, it's great when you're struggling to think of practice sentences.

Love it! I was starting to run into a bit of a practicing rut with my copperplate and this is giving my new inspiration!

Thanks for the helpful link! I regularly look up panorama to practice and to focus more on each letter.
