Introductions / Sticking My Head Out For the First Time!

Hi there! Long time lurker, first time poster!
I started modern calligraphy in 2016 just as a “hmmm I wonder if I could do that?” And I was hooked! (I wouldn’t say I could “do it” but I was having a lot of fun figuring it out.) In 2019 I started studying Copperplate by reading Eleanor Winters book and found that I absolutely loved learning the technical aspects of more traditional scripts. I’ve begun learning Spencerian this year and am enjoying that as well. I mainly do calligraphy for fun and to make cards for family and friends. I joined the forum to participate in exchanges and to have people to bounce ideas off of/learn from. I’m nervous to share my work with others but I’d love to get to know people in the calligraphy world!
