Flourishing / A Useful Resource for the Artistically Inclined...

Enabled by a generous grant, the school where I earned my PhD recently scanned the images of birds and other creatures that appeared in John Gould's books. There are many, many images, and you can zoom in quite close to see the detail. I thought some of you might find this useful -

I'm a military retiree, a graduate school professor with a PhD in American and Military History, I'm old but single and have a terrific teenage son, I work too much, the Army broke my body but I think my mind is still in fair running condition, and in my short time interacting online with the pointed pen calligraphy world I get the impression that it's filled with extremely talented and wonderful people.
