The owner of the little art shop I purchased it from fitted the reservoir himself. He placed a clear rubbery tube over the nib, then trimmed off excess bits so there's just enough to catch ink for the reservoir. The rubber tube fits like a glove and can't be removed because of the curvy shape of the nib.
Erica, do you have to re-ink your 41 frequently when you write? I find that without a reservoir, I can only get 1-2 letters in. Is that normal?

Are there any updates on the Hiro 41? I purchased one from a local store recently and it works great. It's also fitted with a reservoir so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it.

Hi there. I'll be in Tokyo soon and was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get an oblique penholder there and some nibs. Apparently Sedaiko only has the Speedball oblique. I'm more interested in a wooden one. Thanks.
