Open Flourish | General Discussion / Availability of Online Workshops from a Historic Perspective

I've been surfing around looking and there seems to be plenty beginners, how to make your own wedding invitations, kinds of course but I'm wondering who hosts workshops that do things like examining manuscripts and putting the various scripts both into context from a historic perspective and talks through techniques, materials, preparation of them.
For example looking at old bibles like the vulgate or sinaiticus or early english manuscripts. Techniques for identifying the scripts in time, understanding how the specific manuscripts style is different from older or newer manuscripts of the same script, identifying the individual scribes styles. What strokes and extend skills need to be learned to emulate the styles and on and on.
Things like Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, Sumerian and Asian scripts and the various related technique could also be fascinating.
Any suggestions would be appreciated?
