nothing works right!
« on: September 15, 2014, 01:38:37 AM »
My wife and I was suppose to go to a wedding this weekend of one of my wife's coworkers. I got a emergency with my dad who had surgery last week on his ankle developed a blood clot in in lung so needless to say I did not go to the wedding. My wife went alone but got sick at the reception and had to leave early. I decided to write a nice letter to the newly weds to explain the situation. I sat down and started. First I misspelled something. OK no problem I started over. The next thing that happened it started to smear. It when on and on until I could not take it anymore I threw my pen across the room. Now in this picture is a leonnardt principle EF NIB. I don't think this one will be fixable. I think I will stop for a few days to I can figure out these personal issues. Read thru past post and you can read what happen to my Mother and her accident , what a summer.  I just want to scream.

So sorry Brad.
You really have had a series of unfortunate events.
I agree, I think it would be very good to put the pen done for a bit.
Hopefully things will start getting better real soon.
My best to your family.

Hi Brad

I am sorry you are having one of those weeks where nothing just seems to be going right. Hopefully this means that soon, you will get a series of fortunate events to make up for these sucky ones. I hope you feel better soon and that your situation changes.

Sending good vibes from the Nordics!

P.S. Yes, you should scream!! let it out!!

My sympathies, Brad, you've had a lot to worry about.  Things will level off eventually I'm sure, but as Lori says unfortunate events do have a habit of turning up together.

You're lucky only the nib broke, not the pen! But that bad luck really sucks, I get why you'd throw the pen. I hope all turns out well.

Hi Brad, I am sorry to hear about your tough summer. :( Scream, get frustrated, feel whatever it is you feel, then let it go. This gloomy cloud will pass and things will look brighter again.

So sorry to hear about your black period Brad.
Stop for a while and recover your energy and strength and allow everything to calm down. And I'm with Grace; if you feel like wanting to scream, just scream! :)

So sorry to read about all that is going on Brad. There must be something in the air as I had a pen throwing moment myself just last week. I do believe it means a break is in order. Sometimes stress can inhibit our creativity and trying to create creates more stress.

Wishing better days ahead.  :)

Yes I did as a matter of fact. When my Wife gave it to her she said she loved it and could not wait to show her husband. In our thank you notes for attending the wedding she thanked my Wife and thanked me for the lovely letter. And wished my dad good health. So all in all it turned out. Thanks for asking.

I guess I am being the good some because I am taking him to ALL his appointments about 3 a week. Siblings have not offered  >:(

Brad, and they won't so long as you're doing a great job of it.  LOL.  That's my experience.  "Oh, Daisy can take mom ... she doesn't have a job she has to clock in to."  Don't even get me started....
