Learning Copperplate and Spencerian at the same time?
« on: December 27, 2015, 03:44:11 PM »
Hey guys!  Do you think it's a good idea to practice two scripts at the same time?  I've been learning Copperplate but recently my eye has really been taken by the beauty that is Spencerian.  Should I double team them or focus on one?  Thanks!

I say pick one and forget the other until you've nailed it.  Of all the possible combinations learning copperplate and Spencerian at the same time is probably the least advisable because the differences are profound, yet subtle.  If you fancy a change something in the broad edge line would be a much better idea.
