Hello!
My name is Flo, and I live in Gasport New York. I've worked as an artist (mixed media/collage) and crafter (bridesmaid invitations) since quitting my 'day job' about 5 years ago. I especially love working with, handling, and collecting antique paper, like old Harper's magazines from the 1800's which are full of fantastic illustrations and all of the perfect and strange beauty of Victorian culture. I've always loved the look of copperplate calligraphy, but assumed that it would take artistic talent that I just don't have to master it. I've recently gotten a little how to guide and materials for modern calligraphy from a friend, and am now very excitedly determined to learn Copperplate! I'm looking forward to this community's knowledge and guidance to help!
