Please accept my many thanks. They are these types of feebacks that drove me to madness, a kind mindness. This kind madness, gave me the most joy, a joy that devoured about ten books of calligraphy, many laboured hours of practice (x hrs), and intensive posting and web interactions (e to the x power hrs), and seeing my progress and yet not satisfied.
Satisfaction that did not fill the hunger of fulfillment, this is mostly due to gain of knowledge and abilities to accept advice and able to self criticize.
Being distracted from my primary goal, which was to obtain an acceptable everyday hand that most people can decipher from my past chicken scratches. (Well...when mechants of ancient used scratches on clay pads, then wax pads as a form of writing. As opposed to iPad and iPhone.) Now have thus obtained with two hands, Italic and an incidental English Roundhand with more fountain pens then I can count and 5 yr old that exclaimed "you have too many pens daddy!".
Please accept my thanks: the FF (and founder and members) for allowing me to escape from this mad world with late practice (and late night snacks), early morning practice (and coffee and snacks), obtaining manuscripts that almost no one really read (except for this audience).
Manuscript and books by great authors and engravers: Carpi, Palatino, Paladino, Cataneo, A S Osley, Alfred Fairbanks, BeauChesne, Reynold, Spencer, Castair, Madaraz, Michael Sull (still alive and giving lectures), Ken Brown, and so many others both living and long time passed,
Sorry for my rambling...
