@AnasaziWrites I love it! could say the same about my guinea pigs.

Really wasn't inspired by "bad dog", so here's a wolf. Arguably, it's the other way around, a dog is a bad wolf.

Still working on layout. I think it would look nicer if the lines were a little further apart.
I'm happy with the vine though.

Also, this is getting closer to what I want to do in terms of style :)

@Zivio I hope you're having a great weekend away!
Oh crêpe!

@AnasaziWrites - They're all good dogs, Mike.  They are also all good round hands here today!
@Lucie Y - I'm following your lead of "when in doubt, put more gold on it."

But I'm not sure all the gold paint in the world is helping this one.  I just got this new book about drawing beasts with knot work, and thought that the first go would probably produce a "bad dog" - was not wrong.  But well, I'm getting the general principles down.  It actually looked better before I painted it.  But the color makes it clear that while I produced a continuous strand in the knot (often a goal!), the aesthetics of the piece would be way better with two intertwining strands.  Oh well.  Live and learn; it only took about 4 hours to construct and execute.  (*sobs*)

This is very impressive @K-2! I know it's not what you want it to be but the knot work is stunning and really draws you in. Really epic feel. How were you thinking of arranging 2 distinct strands? I think it works and I honestly really, really like it.

This was a struggle. Still so much to learn!
