Last night I got home from work and fell asleep, so I have some catching up to do.
Tonight, some Copperplate practice, and darn I screwed up the ligatures halfway through the word. Will be working on it.
The capital T isn't balanced either. But I have a no-redo rule, so I have to live with it

Oui, c'est moi, 40 years ago. And yes, I was an investment banker at the time, and that was my car.  I originally thought to use a piece of chocolate cake or stack of chocolate chip cookies as an illustration, but in looking for a quote, found this. It was just too perfect not to use.

Here's my take today - the drawing is done with one of my favorite Diamine Invent 2021 inks, "Tempest".  The luminescent purplish effect comes from applying bleach to the saturated ink.  It's the same technique as I used for the jellyfish in "Empty" and the vampire squid in "Booger" - I'm working on getting a bit more precision control over the bleach effect by playing with different dilutions.

Good spotting on the model. It's a 1978.
Sold it long ago. Currently driving a Porsche Cayenne S. My wife, on the other hand, drives the faster and prettier Audi RS6 Avant. That car will move much faster than the Ferrari.

Sure, all we have to do is buy another one (sold mine years ago). I think you might like my wife's current car, though--Audi RS6 Avant.

Just want to add how much joy this Inktober is bringing me. Seeing everyone’s daily work is awesome but what is really special to me is seeing everyone’s improvement. It’s really amazing the progress being made for everyone. I guess it’s true that practice really does make progress.
