Hello friends!

There is a new social app called Clubhouse - it is still in beta for iphone & by invitation-only.  The idea is 100% audio-based; you create a profile and can join "rooms" where members discuss a particular topic or interest.  You may join in the conversation if you like, or simply listen on mute.  It's been a great place so far to learn & network.  I'd love to start a group (separate from the wedding industry pros & artists) for us calligraphers to chat!
I do have a couple invitations left, so please private message me if you'd like one.  Otherwise, if you are already a member (or have invites to share), please drop in below!

Favorite Resources / East Coast Calligraphy Supply Co in NJ

I’d like to share this awesome calligraphy shop in Collingswood, New Jersey - East Coast Calligraphy Supply Co. It’s a total gem very close to Philadelphia & I don’t think enough NJ/PA/DE calligraphers know about it! The owner & really every staff member I’ve spoken to has always been so knowledgeable & willing to help you choose the right paper, nibs, inks, etc. They’re having a grand re-opening this Saturday 6/20. Introductions / Hello from KarlyK!

I wanted to say hi & introduce myself - I’m Karly & I live in Marlton, South Jersey.  I’m on instagram KarlyK_Calligraphy .  I’ve been learning calligraphy for the past few years & just recently joined the Phl Calligrapher’s Society.  Hopefully when the pandemic passes & we can all meet in person again, I hope to meet more calligraphers from our area.  In the mean time, it’s nice to know this amazing community is available as well!
