Hey all!
I am at the beginning stages of my calligraphic journey, so Iím looking for as many resources as I can, but I find it a bit overwhelming, since thereís A LOT out there.
So I was wondering, who are your favourite calligraphers? I like to learn from the best  ;D
Iím familiar with Paul Antonioís work, but apart from him, I donít know any other ďclassicĒ calligraphers. Is there a book that you consider essential?
(Sorry Erica for my many posts, I know you have to approve them all and I already posted like 6 of them  :-X )

Introductions / Hello from Segovia, Spain
« on: June 16, 2019, 08:44:20 AM »
Hi everyone!
My name is Angela and I live in a small city near Madrid called Segovia.
I discovered brush lettering about three years ago, but I quickly got frustrated as my letters didnít look as neat and beautiful as everyone elseís. I completely abbandoned my hobby because I felt like I wasnít improving.
Two months ago I stumbled upon pointed pen calligraphy (specifically copperplate ) and when I started to practice drills and basic letterforms, everything just clicked.
Iíve been practicing everyday since then, and Iím in love with everything Iím learning.
I want to keep practicing copperplate, but want to expand my skills. I think I will start learning Italic soon!
Calligraphy is a truly beautiful skill, and I canít wait to learn everything I can.
This forum is a blessing. Canít wait to participate in it!
