Amazing that you can use a nib on it!  Thanks for sharing!

@Starlee thank you! :) I'm still trying to get it to work - it's nothing too crazy so I thought it'd be easier than it is, lol... #storyofmylife.  Your card is AMAZING, by the way!!!  Just... WOW!

List 2, I am sorry, but I was trying to be clever with an experimental project, and it didn't work, so I am running late.  Hopefully I'll have these mailed out over the weekend!

I wonder if Borden & Riley's #37 marker layout paper might work for you?  It's definitely translucent, comes in a pad, and has a slight bit of tooth (unlike Canson Marker Layout and Rhodia, which are totally smooth).  The Pilot Parallel ink does not bleed on it.

While of course it'd be nice to not have to mix a color, if you need to, I recently mixed M. Graham's Alizarin Crimson + W&N's Perylene Violet to get a burgundy.  I added some bleed proof white since it was quite dark.

Holy smokes, I thought I was looking at a photo of my own set of drawers! Too funny.  I actually keep a box or two for each size - A7, A6, A2 - but still, I have this drawer for the truly miscellaneous.

@Bianca M Girlfriend, you are way better at the Internet than me!  How did you figure out her Instagram??

@JanisTX LOL!  I've come to learn that many people put the @ symbol in when filling out their instagram in their forum profiles, but it leads to a bad link when you click on the Instagram icon to the left.  So, Allison's link currently reads as "www.instagram.com/@wildwoodcalligraphyandpost" - you can see that there's an "@" in there that shouldn't be, so when I saw the bad link, I knew the culprit off the bat.

Now, I realize I could be helpful and point it out to @Allison M , which I'll do now, and possibly should have done earlier and in other cases, but I am shy to point out errors in "public."  "Welcome to the forum, Allison!  You need to fix your link!" I am silly, I know.

@JanisTX he really is talented!  And you have me digging deep - I found this video of him reviewing the ink.  It looks like it's a matter of shaking vs. not shaking the bottle to get those effects (as well as using the different color offerings they have, which he did not specify on this posts). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ-M9PTrwds

I don't know about alcohol inks - very curious!

Janis, the FB video you sent me is exactly the one I came across while searching!  What I didn't notice before is his Instagram handle in the lower left.

www.instagram.com/made.by.edgar
and one example of that ink is https://www.instagram.com/p/BsEX8koDqaV/

However, if you read some of the comments, you'll see people have purchased the ink and don't have the same results, but he hasn't answered questions about that.  I haven't dug any deeper on his other posts with the same ink effect; perhaps he shares more in those.  It's possible they just didn't buy the same bottle!  I am not letting myself explore the source because I know that if I do, I will buy too many things, so I will just cross my fingers that you got the magic stuff. ;)
