@Ken Fraser Thank you so much for re-collating this.  I was having panic attacks as I could not see the images in your earlier thread  ;D
Was going to write to you to find out what happened and then saw this.

Made my day.  Your talent and generosity is beyond compare.
Thanks again
Prasad

Word of the Day / Re: Terrible pun of the week

@prasad
Wonderful, the only thing I can pick up on is the spacing on 'a' in 'walking'. Very impressive if you did that quickly and with an architect grind

Thanks so much Alex.  Makes me feel good :)

Hi Bob,
If you want to clear the pictures you have attached or wrongly chosen click the (clear attachments) next to the choose file box.
It will clear everything chosen.

If you want to remove an image after you have posted
1) click Modify  on your post
2) click attachments and other options
3) uncheck image you don't want attached.

The 2 images below show both options.

Hope this helps

"Two peanuts were walking down the street. One was a salted."

This one is extra terrible lol

That is a little terrible ;D  I didn't get it because kept missing the "a" in the last line and then it hit me.

Writing it in my daily writing style,  trying to get speed for this style so wrote it as fast as I could.  Ground a normal Indian Fountain pen to a fine architect grind.  This gives thin verticals and wide horizontals.

Hi Elizabeth,
Big welcome to the forum.  30 years??  Would love to one day say that I have been learning an art form for 30 years.   :)

Happy writing and all the best for learning the bouncy script.

Shouldn't be difficult for you to master that

Big welcome to the forum Charlotte.

Hello everyone! I'm Charlotte from Hong Kong. (Ig name: papercanvasstudio)

I'm new to this forum but I have to say I've been following a lot of the calligraphers here on Instagram (sorry if it sounds like I'm a stalker! :P).

Works a little differently in the Forum.  We stalk-  they finally get fed up - they respond and teach us-  Our calligraphy improves  ;D

Stalk away,
Happy writing

Kind Critique / Re: Practice with "Wish you were here"

Lovely writing and This is really weird, in a good way :)

I am trying Spencerian and I just finished writing my daily practice and logged into FF and saw this post.  This is the first Floyd song I ever heard back in School.  I use this always for my long passage writing practice.

I wrote this exact same thing for this mornings practice.
Don't want to hijack this thread , you can see the image Here.  :)

Happy writing
