I really wanna join! But honestly, I don't know how to send a letter. I'm afraid people might not receive theirs. :( and I'm pretty new to everything.
How can I send a letter from the Philippines? And roughly how much would it cost? :D
Sorry if I'm in the wrong thread. I can't find an appropriate thread for my questions.
Thanks so much!

Andrew you better sign up!!

I have no idea what I'm going to do either, but we'll think of something. You could write a poem about how long mail takes to get to you ;).

Hahaha!! Hold on, I'll get right around to signing up, just as soon as I finish adding "Elaina" to my list of people I'm officially terrified of! :o

Okay, I've done it now, please don't hunt me down! :P Hah, the poem idea is hilariously accurate. ;)

+1 on what Elaina said, Andrew!! Or do a poem about the origin of English muffins, maybe?  ;D

Thanks for the encouragement, Joo-dee! ;D You're on dangerous territory there though, asking a Scotsman to write about English muffins! :P

I've received email from the Philippines from Faith Ymson for the Valentines exchange and Juanita Penus has also sent me  mail. Perhaps you can contact them?

Hi Sandee!

I'm from PH too, and sending mails is just easy... don't be afraid to send one and ask someone from the local post office.... The cost would be approximately 20-35 each depends on the weight and where....

the local post office nowadays are familiar already with "flourished envelopes"  ;)

in-n-out burger would be the best  ;D ;) missing it so much

I can't wait to have the list! I have already decided how the envelopes are gonna be, what my calligraphy piece is gonna be (and not a recipe, sorry! ;) ), I have the perfect "so spanish" stamps and my boyfriend just helped me on how "attach" the app (he is one of the programmers that made it!) my city have with all the info neccessary for tourists (so you can see all about it from home, and maybe come visit?)! I am so excited! I may add some other surprises too  ;)

I am sorry Schin, but in my area the real food are fabada and cachopo!

Wikipedia to the help:

- Fabada: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabada#/media/File:Fabada_en_cazuela_de_barro.jpg
- Cachopo: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cachopo#/media/File:Cachopo_Tierra_Astur1.JPG

Obviously you need some cider to eat all up!

I love paella too, but it is just an appetizer here ;)

Hope we have an recipe exchange soon!

That I can definetely add! And I am going to add a "faba" (the bean used in fabada) si you can see how different from your local beans it is!

I hope you're on my list, Alba!
Y si no, de toda maneras me la mandas!! hahaha
I WANT SOME FABADA!!!  ;)
