I'm here. I saw that offhand signature. Uploading my attempt right now. (it's ugly, so don't hold your breath)

For me too. Hoang is a diligent student. It's a delight watching him write. I've had the pleasure of seeing him do calligraphy in person.

I'm sure you've seen this on youtube. This is one of my favorites. The forms, the technique, the flow and effortless speed. Schin Loong is one of the best Ornamental Penmanship writers today.

yup, the original on that page by Albin is awesome. That whole page has good muscle movement.
For some reason I tend to think the name written in specimen is the name of the person who wrote it but clearly this was an addressed envelope and could not have been Lupfer himself.

Amazing! Hope to be at your level one day. Myself I use finger movement going up & speed a little on the downstroke. I write too small to trust arm muscles do execute loops consistently the way I want them to look.

I don't think I've tried that pen. Share a pic when you do give it a go.

Could you be more specific on what you want to learn?  Also you metioned looking at the Bloser Lessons in Penmanship. That's the same book  I learned from. What part can I help you with?
